2017 SPSEA Southern Region Conference
On February 11, 2017, the Shippensburg University chapter of the Pennsylvania Education Association held it's regional conference. Each attendee chose between two breakout sessions and we collected school supplies for a local elementary school. During lunch, we packed backpacks with the school supplies to be distributed after the conference.
Dr. Chris Clayton spoke on classroom management and differentiated instruction.
Professor Rudy, a teacher at Shippensburg University, spoke on the guidance approach.
Dr. Baynum, a professor at Shippensburg University, spoke on managing literacy centers.
Dr. Warfield spoke on inclusion in the general education classroom.

Three raffle baskets were given out as prizes for winning the raffle. Tickets cost $1 each.
Packing Backpacks
After lunch, some attendees and the officers helped pack backpacks with school supplies that were donated by some of the attendees or ones that were bought.
